Please read this policy carefully before making a booking. By proceeding with your booking via our website or directly with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Booking Terms and Conditions.
This policy is effective as of August 2023. We reserve the right to update and change this policy from time to time.
Bookings
All bookings for Ceangal retreats are subject to availability. Full payment or a non-refundable deposit, as specified per each retreat, is required at the time of booking to secure your place. The remaining balance must be paid at least 60 days before the retreat start date.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Our standard policy is that cancellations made more than 60 days before the retreat start date will receive a refund of the full cost minus a €25 administration fee per space cancelled if paid by direct bank transfer, or a €45 administration fee per space cancelled if paid via the website. This is due to additional costs involved in processing refunds via our card processing partner. For cancellations made within 60 days of the retreat start date, the full retreat cost is non-refundable due to the limited availability of spaces.
Please note that for some retreats, this policy may be adjusted and this will be made clear on the event page. You are responsible for making yourself aware of the cancellation policy that applies to your retreat.
Insurance
All participants, particularly those travelling from outside the country, must have valid travel insurance that includes coverage for baggage, medical expenses, and the cost of repatriation in the event of illness. It is each individual’s responsibility to ensure their insurance is adequate for the retreat. Non-compliance with this condition will absolve Ceangal from any related liabilities.
Alterations & Cancellations by Ceangal
In the unlikely event that Ceangal is forced to significantly alter or cancel the retreat due to circumstances beyond our control, we will offer a full refund of the payment received. We strongly recommend obtaining insurance coverage for your flights to compensate for unexpected events leading to cancellation.
Unused Services
No refunds will be provided for services not utilised during the retreat. If a participant is unable or chooses not to complete the retreat, Ceangal is not obliged to provide alternative arrangements for the period when the client is not present with the group.
Travel & Immigration Guidance
Any information or advice provided by us on matters such as permits, visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, special equipment, airlines and travel connections etc. is given in good faith but without responsibility on our part, and the passenger accepts responsibility for obtaining any necessary visas and travel documents required.
Participant Responsibility
By booking a retreat with Ceangal, participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with the retreat, including potential injury, loss or damage to property, and inconvenience. Participants also agree to abide by the authority of the retreat leader and inform Ceangal of any medical conditions or special needs at the time of booking.
Complaints
If you have any complaint about the retreat, you must make it known at the earliest opportunity to the host and/or our local representative, who will normally be able to take appropriate action.
Our Liability
We are liable for the proper performance of our obligations under the contract. However, we are not liable for failure attributable to the participant, unforeseeable or unavoidable actions by third parties, or unusual circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any event that we could not have foreseen or forestalled, despite due care.
