Wow – what a night!

The BOOKMARKet Kells was packed to the rafters for our inaugural French Soirée. It was such fun transporting a little bit of France to Ireland (County Meath to be precise!) and sharing some of the produce that’s local to where we live back in Cognac. It was also great fun collaborating with the wonderful Jess Olahan – our second event together with The BOOKMARKet and another great success!

It was a sell-out evening enjoyed by one and all. The cocktails – Pineau Colada, Le Pirotonic & Ginger Marie – went down a treat and were complemented by cheese and meat platters artfully assembled and beautifully presented by Ger. And the evening’s warmth and welcome was further enhanced by the wonderful music provided by Ray on guitar.

As a Ceangal event, it was of course all about “connecting”…reconnecting with friends and family and forging new connections with everyone who came. We’re looking forward to doing it all again in the not too distant future and meanwhile to welcoming some of our enthusiastic guests out to our magical corner of France!
